The Mirror

She smiled
I walked towards her
closer and closer
looked deep into her eyes
I saw kindness
her love
her soul

I held out my arms
softly said:
I love you
all that you are
and that
to those around
you
give solace
inspiration
and oft hope.

I love you.
Her eyes filled with tears
her face softened
radiant

in that mirror
I saw my Self
coming home
completely
joyously
to my Self.
