Poetry of Heart and Soul
A devoted poetess and storyteller, Renata has written more than 70 short stories and over a thousand poems, many drawn from the well of her own lived experience. She believes poetry is a bridge into the unknown — a place of healing, beauty, and transformation — and her words carry the same soulful invitation that once stirred the Persian mystics Rumi and Hafiz, who remain her deepest inspiration.
To all who find their way here… enjoy!
THE HEALING
It is the gentle touch
of Mother Earth
gathering you into her arms.
It is the small movement
of air as the blanket of love
falls around your body—
the breath of the Beloved
inhaling, exhaling
in the center of your soul.
The touch, the breath
weaves gossamer threads
of the shimmering Universe
in and around you,
holding you safe.
You are one with the Beloved.

In Gratitude…
They called me a "wordsmith”...
The word "smith" brought forth an image of a smithy:
Poetry as the Language of the Soul
“I notice the small things, the unusual,” Renata says.
“I try to catch their fleeting moments before they vanish, and to honor them with language, image, and color.”
For Renata, poetry and art are not pastimes but lifelines.
“I cannot imagine my life without them,” she reflects.
“I am grateful, deeply grateful, to give myself freely to inspiration at this time in my life.”
